Prowein Düsseldorf
A March to share a millennial culture, that of Valpolicella wines: a European excellence known and loved throughout the world.
From 19 to 21 March, in fact, the Consorzio Tutela Vini Valpolicella was present in Düsseldorf, at Prowein 2023, the international wine fair that this year reached a record number of 49,000 visitors from 141 countries.
At its side is the ELTW project, which, with the support of the European Union, promotes and enhances products that have obtained the prestigious PDO mark. Products that are unique due to natural and human factors specific to the production area.
This is the case for Valpolicella, an area in the province of Verona that has always been devoted to grape growing and the production of iconic wines such as Valpolicella DOC, the Valpolicella Ripasso DOC, Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG and Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG.
The stand hosted a collective of 28 member companies of the Consortium and, during the fair, hosted four tastings organised in collaboration with the magazine Vinum.
The tastings were led by journalist and Italian wine expert Christian Eder and gave visitors the chance to sample the best of the area’s production, from Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG and Valpolicella Ripasso DOC to Valpolicella DOC.
LIFE – LOVE ICONIC FOOD OF EUROPE
The participation of the Consorzio Tutela Vini Valpolicella in Prowein 2023 is part of ‘That’s Amore – European lifestyle: taste wonderfood’, the European campaign that aims to promote European excellence on the Italian, German and Czech market.
