Asiago PDO cheese protagonist at Vinitaly 2024

Once again this year, the Asiago Cheese Protection Consortium brought the unmistakable quality of one of the most renowned Denominations of Origin on the European dairy scene to Vinitaly. For the second consecutive year, in fact, Asiago PDO cheese was the Official Cheese of OperaWine, Vinitaly and Vinitaly and the City, held in Verona from 12 to 17 April.

The initiatives organised during this eagerly awaited appointment were many: from the partnership with Opera Wine’s elite wines, to the Masterclasses of the ‘Vinitaly and the City’ off-site event, to the presence at the Vinitaly Bio Salon. Valuable moments to highlight the eclectic nature and variety of maturations of this extraordinary PDO cheese, and to educate the public on the importance of Protected Designations of Origin that guarantee safe and quality food.

The presence at Vinitaly was also an opportunity to share this quality not only with the public but also with all operators in the sector, international buyers, restaurateurs and chefs who were able to appreciate the value of a gastronomic excellence that is unique in the world.
