Cibus Parma. The Nano Vialone Veronese PGI Rice in the heart of the Food Valley.

ITALY

From 29 to 30 March, the Consortium for the Protection of Nano Vialone Veronese PGI Rice participated in Cibus Connecting Italy, the reference event for the international food industry. It takes place every year in the city that symbolises Italy’s food valley: Parma, cradle of some of Europe’s most recognised products.

Companies, producers and trade associations have met to outline future food strategies, including workshops, tastings and vertical conferences on various topics. The protagonists were above all the great PDO and PGI products certified by the EU, including Nano Vialone Veronese PGI Rice.

The 2023 edition was able to welcome industry professionals with an overview of the challenges of the future, in particular the topic of sustainability and water conservation. On display were more than 1,000 brands, food & beverage flagships and more than 500 new products ready for launch.

The institutional stand of the Consortium for the Protection of Nano Vialone Veronese PGI Rice welcomed visitors from all over the world, cooking up a great tradition thanks to the skilful hands of the Mastri Risottari, chefs of this raw material for generations.

The ideal place to get to know a great excellence, a protagonist on tables all over the world thanks to its nutritional properties, suitable for both the daily diet and that of athletes.
