BOLLITO FAIR 2022

The “Fiera del bollito con la Pearà” event replaces the “Cibus” trade fair, previously included in the project.

The Fiera del Bollito con la Pearà was born 19 years ago with the desire to serve, in addition to the Veronese sauce, also the quality meat that sees the province of Verona as one of the most important national production areas in Italy. For this reason, Isola della Scala has once again decided to serve popular dishes prepared with selected raw materials. In addition to pearà and boiled meats, the Fair also hosts the typical flavors of autumn and some popular recipes, some of which are less and less frequent on the menus of trattorias and restaurants. Do not miss, as usual in Isola della Scala, the risotto all’isolana. All surrounded by events and competitions that make this land a small homeland of real and good flavours.

The Fair takes place in the modern Palariso covered structure. Several butchers at the fair cook and offer visitors the traditional dish with multiple cuts of meat and the tasty Veronese sauce. As usual in island fairs, the supply chain will therefore be very short, to guarantee guests great quality in the products served. Whoever “has a shop” will therefore also be the one who cooks. In this way each stand will push to give its best, aware that the satisfaction of gourmets at the fair will be very important for its business also in the rest of the year.

Visitors, mainly consumers, were around 45,000 for the edition in question
