The Rice Fair, edition 2024, is back.

An unmissable appointment for lovers of Nano Vialone Veronese PGI rice: the Fiera del Riso (Rice Fair), the great annual event held in Isola della Scala, in the province of Verona, dedicated to one of Italy’s most prized rice varieties, returns in September.

The 2024 edition, scheduled from September 20th  to October 13th , promises to be full of initiatives for citizens, tourists, producers and gastronomic professionals. There will in fact be:

• Entertainment for children and families, live shows, concerts and much more to make the visit enjoyable for all ages.
• Conferences and seminars to explore the world of rice, with a focus on sustainability, agricultural and gastronomic innovation, and trends in the agri-food sector.

The Consortium for the protection of Nano Vialone Veronese PGI rice joins the project “That’s Amore. European Lifestyle: Taste Wonderfood” which celebrates the love for European quality products, for excellence of certain origin, for raw materials processed in a respectful and transparent way.

It is a project that puts in place many initiatives, workshops and events throughout Europe to make citizens and operators in the sector aware of the certified quality of Nano Vialone Veronese PGI Rice, Veneto PDO Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Asiago PDO cheese and Valpolicella DOC and DOCG Wines.
