RICE FAIR 2022

The Rice Fair is the largest Italian fair dedicated to risotto and rice which is held every year at the fairgrounds of Isola della Scala, in the province of Verona.

The event, foreseen by project, saw the presence of an exhibition stand of the Consortium for the protection of Nano Vialone Veronese PGI rice which became, during the days of the event, the meeting point for all operators in the sector and enthusiasts of the product.

The presence of the stand was an opportunity not only to represent the products promoted by the rest of the proponents, but also to present the new project graphics, distinguished by the claim “That’s Amore” which met with strong interest from the participants.

As in the case of Amarone Opera Prima, focusing promotional efforts on an initiative strongly focused on a product has made it possible to catalyze efforts, also benefiting the other beneficiaries who have been able to take advantage of the profiled target strongly interested in a specific production .

Overall, the fair saw the participation of around 500,000 visitors overall, with a preponderant share of consumers. However, the presence of specialist side events encouraged the participation of journalists and sector operators.

The focus of the format, combined with the presence of journalists has allowed the creation and publication of various articles and editorials as a result of the initiative.
