Amarone Opera Prima: the reconfirmation of a great European wine in the event dedicated to it.

February 4-5, 2023. The event dedicated to the flagship product of the Valpolicella appellation, Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, is once again a success. The “Amarone Opera Prima” event was held as every year at the Palazzo della Gran Guardia, in the heart of Verona, in one of the historic palaces that dot the splendid Piazza Bra.

The 19th edition welcomed 300 journalists and more than 1,500 wine lovers for two days dedicated to the great red wine of Valpolicella.
Among the focuses of the event, in addition to the state of health of the main red wine denomination in the Veneto region known globally thanks to the Amarone brand, the important announcement of the closing of the dossier for the candidacy of the Valpolicella grape resting technique as a Unesco intangible heritage.
An important gesture, which enhances a thousand-year history and conveys the great European food and wine culture, of which the Consorzio Tutela Vini Valpolicella is a spokesman and promoter.
